What is the new 5 step Risk assessment process?
CBP recommended a 5 Step Risk Assessment Process to assist C-TPAT Partners in conducting a risk assessment of their international supply chain(s), in accordance with C-TPAT minimum security criteria. The following 5 steps are included in the risk assessment process:
- Map cargo flow and identify business partners
- Conduct a Threat Assessment
- Conduct a Vulnerability Assessment
- Prepare an Action Plan
- Document How Risk Assessments are conducted
GTKonnect C-TPAT, built on the foundation of GTKonnect SCPM, helps manage your C-TPAT certification program efficiently and seamlessly, based on the customs recommended process. GTK C-TPAT provides users the ability to electronically interact and gather information from various supply chain partners regarding their C-TPAT status. Use this information to create a risk assessment profile for the supply chain partner
Some salient features of GTKonnect CTPAT are:
- Create Graphical Supply Chains
With the GTKonnect C-TPAT, you can map your individual supply chains and maintain your C-TPAT for each supply chain
- Region based Threat assessment
GTKonnect C-TPAT can automatically conduct research and analysis and gather information from the configured list of web sites (both US customs recommended and user configured), based on the region profile, saving valuable user time
Search can be configured to run during non-business hours leveraging
- Manage all parties in supply chain
Vendor, manufacturer, forwarder, consolidator, carrier, trucker or any other party in supply chain, GTKonnect CTPAT facilitates the certification process
- User defined questionnaires
Ability for the users to design questionnaires to meet each unique requirement
Flexible and configurable questionnaire flow
Weights and scores based on each question and response
- Risk Assessment
Assess partner vulnerability risk based on responses received for the questionnaire
- Risk based action plan
Create an action plan to rectify the identified risks
- Automatic re-validation
GTKonnect C-TPAT can automatically manage the annual re-validation process to collect the updated information from your supply chain partner
- Reporting
Complete reporting and C-TPAT history tracking

“Very attractive pricing”- says Linda, Manager, BP Industries in Ontario, CA
… Netwin was highly recommended to us by one of their customers and we decided to evaluate their product. This was the best product in the market and we were pleasantly surprised by their aggressive prices and their willingness to work with us.
… Very professional in their approach and we look forward for the system implementation in the next few weeks after we get our customs profile established. |
