In-Bond

Objective

In-Bonds are an essential part of the import process. Simple yet sophisticated, In-Bonds are the backbone for ensuring compliant, and efficient freight movement for non-customs cleared shipments.

In-bonds are necessary to manage various scenarios; on-forwarding to port-of-entry, into or out of an FTZ or transitioning across the US. GTKonnect's In-bond module supports documentation creation, visibility, and control making the chain of custody stay intact.

Features

Integrated and Standalone

GTK In-bond integrates with GTK Exports, Imports, and FTZ modules allowing for the reuse of data; increasing efficiencies and lowering cost per transaction. But if all you need is an efficient way to process in-bonds, GTK In-bond is deployable as a standalone tool.

Tracking, Visibility, and Reporting

Track in-bonds through their lifecycle including visibility to customs transmissions and responses. In-Bond module contains multiple reports for management and control (In-Bond closure/arrival) and data analysis.

Documentation

Print, email, and image all required documentation to support the in-bond process. Create Delivery Orders directly from in-bond entries.

BOL Data Reuse

Bill of lading data is saved and can be reused if multiple in-bonds or types are required.

Transfer

GTKonnect provides the ability to transfer bond liability to remove the in-bond off of your customs bond.

Process all In-Bond Types

GTKonnect processes all in-bond types: FTZ, IE, I&E, T&E, BWH.
